Biography


James Kohler has over ten years of personal training experience and is confident in his ability to help anyone reach their fitness goals.  He became certified as a trainer when he was eighteen years old after moving to Los Angeles from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Over the years, James has designed and implemented nutritional and exercise programs for clients with various capabilities and limitations.  He has worked with people of all ages, from the elderly to collegiate athletes.

James is also a professional natural bodybuilder through two organizations, the NGA and Musclemania.  He recently won the title of Mr. Natural California.  James first started bodybuilding to gain size and strength for Tae Kwon Do tournaments, being the Wisconsin State Champion in 1994.  He has been bodybuilding ever since and has been able to make a living out of his passion. 

California State University Northridge is where James attends graduate school, studying exercise physiology.  He also works there as a teaching associate for strength training. 

Whether your interest is to lose body fat, improve shape or appearance, increase strength and endurance, boost energy or improve sports skills- James Kohler is focused on helping you achieve maximum results in the least amount of time.  James can train you at gyms or private homes located within Southern California including; Calabasas, Malibu, Woodland Hills, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks.

Debby McKnight has over 20 years experience as a personal trainer.  She is skilled and experienced in working with clients of all levels of fitness - from beginners and geriatrics to competitive athletes and bodybuilders, fitness and figure competitors.  As a mother and grandmother, Debbie is a great example of how to live the fitness lifestyle.

Debbie is available for personal training in Woodland Hills, California.

Debby is also a well-known former competitive bodybuilder.
